The 20^th Century saw the destruction of European Jewry and the rapid growth of communities across North America. With that, it saw Golden Age of the Cantorate. In this 8-part class, Cantor Tisser will guide us in exploring the development of Cantorial Arts through the 20^th century, introducing us to major Cantors – some more well known, some lesser – telling stories of their lives, how they fit in to the broad tapestry of Cantorial music, and presenting recordings of their beautiful voices. This class will be offered in-person only. Lunch is available for purchase; outside food is not permitted. Lunch(a wrap and salad) may be purchased through this form.  Contact Cantor Tisser for more information.
