Attention first time parents! Starting Tuesday April 26th, our spring session of ECJFE (Early Childhood Jewish Family Education) class begins. This is a FREE 6-week class that meets Tuesday evenings from 5:45-6:45 pm (4/26, 5/3, 5/10, 5/17, 5/24, 5/31). The class is geared towards first time parents of babies ages 0-15 months and is open to anyone in the Jewish community. You do not need to be a member of Beth El Synagogue to participate. We encourage all parents and babies to attend the classes together. Each class will contain an open forum to discuss "challenges and celebrations" giving you an opportunity to communicate any milestones and/or concerns that are happening regarding your child's development with specialists from the community. The class will also incorporate Jewish customs and traditions to enrich your child's development and your parenting practice.

Amanda Awend is the Director of Young Families Engagement at Beth El Synagogue. Amanda has a degree in Jewish Studies and has taught children of all ages over the last 15 years. She is the mom of two children, Ezra who is 10 and Mila who is 7.
